In Remembrance of Paul Scholl
Paul Scholl 50, of Laporte, MN died Saturday, November 8, 2014 in a tragic hunting accident.
Paul Ernst Scholl was born June 16, 1964 in Minneapolis, MN, to Leo Herman and Jeannette Julia (Hanson) Scholl. He grew up in the metro and graduated from Irondale High School. He furthered his education at St. Paul Tech School, where he received his degree as a journeyman in sheet metal. On October 7, 1989, Paul was united in marriage to Rita Beth Aanerud at Lake Grove Lutheran Church. The couple made their home in Minneapolis for 5 years before moving to Freeburg, IL. After 10 years, they moved to Laporte, where they currently live. In 2001, Paul received his certificate for Massage Therapy through Southwestern Illinois College. Together with Rita, they own and operate Living Touch Massage in Bemidji.
A true outdoors enthusiast, Paul loved hunting, fishing and being one with nature. He enjoyed mowing, raking and yard work in general. He kept busy working with his hands both in construction for 22 years and with massage since 2001. Paul was a man of few words but a man with great integrity, a pursuit for excellence and abundant love for his family. In addition to being kind hearted, smart, and compassionate, he was also genuinely giving, a wonderful provider and loyal husband, father, brother and friend. Paul’s family was first and foremost to him, followed by his strong faith. |
