Your mental health is significantly influenced by what you give your attention to. Because of this, using positive self-talk is crucial.

Maintaining relationships with the people you choose to have in your life is crucial. How you feel about yourself is greatly influenced by the people you choose to be with. It's good to take care of your body and intellect, but what about your soul? How closely do you feel to your actual, authentic self? Religion need not be a part of spiritual self-care or cultivating your spirit. Doing things that nourish your soul is important.
Examples: Meditation, yoga, going to a place of worship, being in nature, dedicating time for self-reflection, etc.

Everybody's definition of self-care is unique. You will need to adjust your self-care plan to fit your own needs. A busy working mother's self-care strategy will be different from a college-bound student's one. Self-reflection and determining your unique needs for self-care are crucial to start with. The greatest place to start is with the aspects of your life that are currently being neglected. Self-care should always come first.
